This Privacy Policy explains how Margoapps LLC ("Margnow," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit margnow.com (the "Site") and join our early-access waitlist.

Margoapps LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Republic of Armenia. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

2. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. Specifically:

a) Information you provide directly

• Email address — when you join our waitlist / sign up for early access.
• Birth date or zodiac sign — when you use the horoscope widget. If you enter a birth date, it is used only to determine your zodiac sign. We do not require your birth year, and we do not store your birth date on our servers unless you separately choose to provide it.

b) Information collected automatically

• Technical data — such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and timestamps, collected through standard server logs and our hosting provider for security and basic analytics.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (such as health, religion, or precise location) and ask that you do not submit such information to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Add you to our early-access waitlist and notify you when Margnow launches;
• Send you product updates related to your early-access sign-up;
• Provide the horoscope reading you request (by passing your zodiac sign to our horoscope data provider);
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your email for unrelated third-party marketing.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or the Armenian Law on the Protection of Personal Data) requires a legal basis, we rely on:

• Your consent — for adding you to the waitlist and sending you early-access emails (you may withdraw consent at any time);
• Legitimate interests — for operating, securing, and improving the Site;
• Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.

5. How We Share Information (Service Providers)

We share limited data with trusted third-party service providers ("processors") only as needed to run the Site:

• Hosting & infrastructure — Vercel Inc. hosts the Site and processes technical/log data.
• Waitlist storage — we store submitted email addresses using Google LLC services (Google Sheets / Google Apps Script).
• Horoscope data provider — we send only your zodiac sign (not your email) to a third-party horoscope API (freehoroscopeapi.com) to generate readings.

These providers may process data outside Armenia. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

6. International Data Transfers

Because we use service providers located in other countries (including the United States and the European Union), your information may be transferred to and processed outside the Republic of Armenia and outside your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection (for example, through providers that offer recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Data Retention

• Waitlist email addresses — retained until Margnow launches and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
• Technical/log data — retained for a limited period for security and analytics, then deleted or anonymized.

We delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer needed for the purposes described here.

8. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use essential cookies and similar technologies needed to function, and uses Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand aggregate usage such as page views, sessions, and traffic sources. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept via our cookie banner; until then, no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect technical data (including a truncated/anonymized IP address) to generate these statistics; this data is processed by Google as described in Google's own privacy policy. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings and via the "Cookie settings" link in our footer, and you may opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out tools; disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate data;
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from waitlist emails);
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable format;
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law.

To exercise any right, email us at privacy@margnow.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each email.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls on stored data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
